The Dutch Golden Age Collection
Every Western European country has had a period history considered as their golden age. For the Netherlands, that period was undoubtedly the 17th century with artists such as Rembrandt and Vermeer. We thus wanted to pay a tribute to Vermeer, an artist know in the popular culture for “the Girl with a pearl earring” painting, deemed as one of the greatest masterpieces of that era. Besides, that painting then inspired the 2004 movie where Scarlett Johansson was cast as the girl with a pearl earring. With these paintings, we hope to bring a touch of 17th century Netherlands with a touch of Hollywood. What a great cocktail, enjoy! :)
